Yes. Having a reservation helps keep us organized and on schedule. Nobody wants to wait! Help us know how many dogs to expect each day to ensure you get the level of service we know you expect.
As an added convenience, a regular dog grooming schedule can be set up as a recurring so we will always have your dog’s reservation on the books. Reservations can be made by calling 604-327-3649, using our contact form, or by emailing us at info@dharmadogservices.com
We always try to accommodate last minute requests and we’ll do everything we can to take care of your immediate need.
We do accept walk-ins, but space is not guaranteed. You can save yourself a trip and just give us a call to check on availability.
Unforeseen circumstances do come up from time to time, however, because our space is limited and we often have a waiting list, we do ask that you inform us if your dog will be missing an appointment.
If you need to cancel a reservation we ask that you give us at least 24 hours advance notice. Otherwise, the full fee for service may be applied.
We understand that emergencies happen than may delay you, but if you are unable to pick up your dog by the time we close we ask that you inform us so that we can help to accommodate you.
Out of consideration to our staff that may have to work late, owners picking up dogs after our regular closing time will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per minute per dog.
We accept dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages for most of our services. For puppies, we require they have had all their shots.
We don’t accept dogs that are overly aggressive since we need to ensure the safety of the other dogs in our care.
Dharma Dog believes in positive reinforcement. We will never hit, spank, slap, yell or grab your pet.
If there is a disciplinary issue you will be informed and we work with you to implement training to overcome the problem.
If you are unable to pick up your dog within 45 minutes of completion, please inform us so we can accommodate as necessary.
Out of consideration to our staff and limited shop space, owners picking up after the 45 minute allotted time will be charged an additional late fee of $20.
